When someone is facing illness, hospitalization, or a difficult medical situation, having the right support can make a tremendous difference.

Chabad On Call helps Chabad rabbis, rebbetzins, chaplains, and community leaders care for patients and families during some of life’s most difficult moments.

We provide practical training, trusted guidance, professional education, and resources that help them respond with greater confidence, sensitivity, and care.

Care When It Matters Most

A hospital room can feel unfamiliar and isolating. Patients and families may be facing difficult decisions, fear, uncertainty, or simply the strain of being far from home.

Chabad On Call helps ensure that the people who walk into those rooms are prepared to listen, support, guide, and care.

Rabbi Yosef Y. Shusterman received Smicha (Yore Yore) and Dayanus (Yodin Yodin) from Lubavitcher Yeshiva in New York. He is the Director of Chabad of North Beverly Hills as well as the Rav of the Chabad community in Los Angeles.

Rabbi Yehoram Ulman serves as a Rosh Beis Din (Senior Dayan) on the Sydney Beis Din and is the immediate Past President of the Rabbinical Council of NSW. He received Smicha for Rabbonus and Dayonus from world renowned authorities, including Rabbi Pinchos Hirschprung and Rabbi Zalman Nehemia Goldberg shlit’a.

Dr. Shlomo Minkowitz, MD is Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology and Weill Cornell Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, New York, NY.

Dr. Avi Rosenberg, MD, PhD is a physician-scientist at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. He is also a practicing Mohel.

Dr. Shmuel Margolin, MD is an internal medicine specialist at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH.

Dr. Alexander Zev Nelken, MD is a board-certified anesthesiologist and Clinical Assistant Professor affiliated with NYU Langone Health.
